MSc thesis projects - Distributed sensor systems
Here is a list of possible MSc thesis projects related to the theme
Distributed sensor systems. This is intended just to
give an idea, actual projects are usually defined after discussion with the
advisor.
[TUD-NXP] Fusion of mono-static and bi-static radar responses (01.12.2022)
Fusion of mono-static and bi-static radar responses in sparsity-based DoA algorithms using Multiple Measurement Vectors technique
[TUD-NXP] Codesign of 2D Antenna Array and DOA Estimation (01.12.2022)
Codesign of 2D Antenna Array and DOA Estimation for FMCW MIMO Radar
Species recognition based on deep learning wingbeat classification (16.03.2023)
The main focus is going to be the classification of birds, aka species recognition, using the deep learning of micro-Doppler patterns of the targets' wingbeat.
Radar orientation in GNSS-denied areas (16.03.2023)
The project is related to studying different existing solutions for radar orientation in GNSS-denied areas, to the theoretical analysis of their performances and capabilities, and experimenting with one or more of them in combination with a radar system.
[New!] Sparse spiking neural networks for radar-based human activity recognition (15.11.2022)
