Biography

Nikita Petrov was born on March 10, 1990 in Gatchina, Leningrad region, Russia. In 2012 he received his Engineer degree in Radio Electronic Control Systems at the Faculty of Information and Control Systems at Baltic State Technical University "VOENMEH" in Saint-Petersburg. Being a student in 2011-2012 Nikita also worked as an Electronic Engineer at Russian Research Centre "ELEKTROPRIBOR". Then in 2012 Nikita joined Scientific Technical Centre "Leninetz" where he worked at radar signal processing. In April 2013 Nikita joined the Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems group at TU Delft and started to work towards his PhD.

Research

The previous work (at university project and at "Leninetz") in the field of radar signal processing was devoted to autofocus for on-board radars. Nowadays, Nikita is working at signal processing for STW-WAMTI project: "Wideband Algorithms for Migrating Targets Indication: Study using the PARSAX radar".
